Clinical Skills is an online training tool for improving the consistency of clinical practice, as well as managing professional training. At the moment, pricing is only available for eHLbc's Health Authorities.

This year, there is a 1% increase over 2019/20 pricing, down from the expected 2% increase.



Updates: 

eHLbc negotiated a 1% reduction in annual increase for 2020/21 to help eHLbc member institutions mitigate the financial and operational burden resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

By combining 2,000+ evidence-based skills and procedures with competency management functionality, Clinical Skills helps ensure that knowledge and skills are current, and reflective of best practices and the latest clinical guidelines anywhere, anytime.

Clinical Skills is authored, peer-reviewed and updated by nurses, therapists and other clinicians currently practicing in their specialities. Elsevier partners with subject matter experts and leading associations to update content annually, or more frequently, if required.

Educators and administrators have the ability to customize content, assign skills and perform assessments, and clinicians are empowered to deliver high quality patient care with confidence.

Clinical Skills consists of four modules:

  1. Clinical Skills Core
    Includes skills in acute and critical care, advanced practice, critical care, emergency, general, high-risk obstetric, maternal-newborn, medical surgical, mental health, neonatal intensive care, and oncology.
  2. Pediatric Nursing
    Includes skills for health professionals working in the pediatric unit.
  3. Perioperative Nursing
    Includes skills for health professionals working in the perioperative unit.
  4. Respiratory Therapy
    Includes skills for health professionals working in respiratory care.
