BC ELN/eHLBc Experiencing Service and Email Interruptions

eHLbc is currently experiencing intermittent delays/outages of all email communications and SFU-hosted services Arca and Illume. This is related to intermittent network-wide outages due to concentrated Denial of Service activity on servers at SFU (eHLbc's and BC ELN's host site).

March 4 update from SFU: Over the past week, SFU has experienced intermittent network slowdowns and brief service interruptions caused by concentrated activity directed at our network. Our technical teams are actively monitoring the situation and responding to these surges in activity to maintain the stability of SFU’s network and services. Because these surges originate externally, their timing and duration are difficult to predict and can impact our network throughout the day.  SFU is working closely with our external cybersecurity and network partners to manage the current conditions and strengthen protections going forward. These efforts are focused on reducing the likelihood and impact of disruptions and helping our systems and network recover faster.
