e-HLbc is engaging in a strategic planning process in order to insure that the consortium continues to meet the shifting needs of members and to guarantee that the it is responsive and flexible – capable of facing the challenges of the changing health information delivery environment.

Stakeholder Engagement
During the strategic planning process, e-HLbc will be conducting research, including interviews, in order to gather qualitative information about members' needs, the consortium, and the wider health information delivery environment. Two types of interviews will be taking place: key informant interviews of administrators, practitioners, educators, researchers, and students as well as peer interviews between stakeholders participating in the in-person strategic planning session.
The qualitative data gathered from these interviews will inform the development of the in-person session and the plan itself. The following documents contain information related to the peer interview process.

In-Person Meeting
One representative from each full and affiliate institution is invited to participate in a 1.5 day in-person strategic planning session on February 23-24, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, in Burnaby. The event will be facilitated by Marleen Morris of Marleen Morris & Associates.
To insure 100% participation, transportation and accommodation costs for attendees from outside of the lower mainland will be covered by the consortium. Participants outside of the lower mainland are encouraged to reserve their accommodations as soon as possible and by January 14th at the latest.
